Kids on the Slope is a an anime series (adapting a manga by Yuki Kodama) about teenagers in a jazz quartet in 1960s Japan. A coming-of-age story in a more realistic style than we‘re used to from anime, with fantastic music by Yoko Kanno (Cowboy Bebop).
