I have finally done something I should have done long ago and replaced Twitter on my phone home screen with NetNewsWire. If I am mindlessly scrolling to kill time (and have run out of Mastodon posts) then amassing a bunch of RSS feeds is probably healthier than what Twitter has to offer nowadays.

Noted by Damian Cugley .NetNewsWire 5.0 (formerly Evergreen) is a free and open source RSS reader for Mac.
There is now an Atom feed for lists of notes (if you have software that consumes RSS feeds, it’s essentially the same thing). Depending on your feed reader software you may be able to autodiscover the feed from the list page’s URL, or you may need to add ‘atom/’ to the end to make it work.
